Today, the vital aspect of any Product or a Service is it's Quality. Any buyer who purchases a Product or a Service will be satisfied only if that Product or Service meets the Quality Standards. The higher the Quality, the better is the Product. The better the Product, the more satisfied the Buyer is. The more satisfied the Buyer, the higher he or she will be ready to pay for that Product.
What exactly is Quality ? The degree of excellence (in terms of Performance, Usability and UI/UX) of something is called it's Quality.
How can Quality in IT Projects be achieved?
In the field of Information Technology, Quality can be achieved by 3 things :
(i) Quality Planning
(ii) Quality Assurance
(iii) Quality Control
How can the end User check the Quality of a Product or Service ? The best way to ascertain or assess the Quality of anything – be it hardware based or software based is to test it. This is also called Software Testing.
What exactly is Software Testing ? Software Testing consists of 2 words – Software and Testing. In layman’s terms it is simply testing a Software. It is nothing but Testing or Verifying and Validating a piece of partially or fully developed Software or an Application with respect to – a set of established Requirements and Expectations.
